Special Needs Registry
Florida Statute 252.355 establishes a registration program available through local emergency management agencies for individuals with special needs who require assistance during emergency evacuations and sheltering. For registration or more information, contact your local emergency management office.
Peace River Electric Cooperative would also like to know if you have special needs requiring electrical service. If so, please contact the Member Services Department toll-free at 1-800-282-3824. Documentation from your Doctor will be required to receive special needs classification. This classification does not assure that electric service will be restored more quickly in the event of a loss of power.
PRECO cannot guarantee uninterrupted power to any home or business. Consumers with critical care needs are strongly encouraged to have a backup plan to move to an alternate location with power, in the event of an emergency.
